Bill Daniels recently retired from a 36 year career of teaching, coaching and mentoring young people in the North Carolina Public School System.

Mr. Daniels has been studying and teaching the art of Karate for over 50 years. He currently holds a 9th Degree Black Belt in the style of Shito-Ryu , a 6th Degree Black Belt in the American Free Style, and a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kempo.

From 1977 through 1982 Mr. Daniels was the Lightweight Champion of the East Coast Full Contact Tournament. He was also the Lightweight Champion of the Southeast Region Full Contact Tournament from 1980-1983. Mr. Daniels holds a 24-2 record in Full Contact Fighting.

    

In March of 2005 Mr. Daniels was awarded the Living Legends Award by the National Dojo Organization. In May of 2007 he earned admission to the AKA Hall of Fame. In August of 2013 Mr. Daniels was awarded the Dixieland Nationals Instructor of the year and in March of 2014 his Dojo was awarded the AKANA School of the year award.

    

Mr. Daniels to this day insists he teaches Respect, Self-Discipline, and Good Manners. his students just happen to learn Karate along the way!
